ARK Smart Breeding Application setup

SupremeArk.com uses its own custom settings.
This guide is meant to help breeders set up the 3rd party application "ARK Smart Breeding" according to the server's settings.

PLEASE NOTE: I am only using the application to READ my dinosaur's statpoints. I am not familiar with the database and the other options this application offers. Please feel free to add to this guide.

Downloading & Installation

Go to the official GitHub page here

Scroll down untill you see "Download the latest release."

Download the latest .zip file

Extract the zip file with a program such as WinRAR or 7Zip.
(if you are not familiar with, or dont know what .zip files are please read here)

Once extracted to whatever folder of your choosing (I know most of you non-OCD people will just dump it on your desktop) you will find the application in the folder:

You can now use the application.

SupremeArk's settings

First check one SupremeArk.com what the current server settings are. You can find these at the bottom of the PVP and PVE rules pages.

It'll look like this:

Go to your Smart Breeding application

Go to file -> Settings -> Tab "Multipliers" and make sure all values are copied.

Press "OK" to save the settings.
You are now ready to start reading stats from the game.

Using ARK Smart Breeding.exe

note: your gameclient should be full-screen (not borderless fullscreen nor windowed!). It is known to not function properly if it is not

In order to read how many points are in a stat you can use the extractor tab from the application.

Step-by-step:

• In game you open up the inventory of the dinosaur you want to read.
• Alt-Tab to your ARK Smart Breeding application
• Select the correct species
  
• Click on "Read Values"
  
• The application will open up your game client, and then close it again and show you your dinosaur's stats.
  

Keep in mind some stats could occur as red instead of green.
Also imprinting can be an issue for this.

There is a very helpful Discord server in case you are constantly bumping into red numbers.

Since this guide as been made, a new feature appeared on the Smart Breeding App. This feature let you export your in game dino straight into the app. To get it setup you need to follow a few simple steps.

Creating the Export folder

The first thing you want to do is to make sure you have the "Dino Export" folder. In order to do this, go to a dino that you would like to extract the stats from. Hold E until the radial menu appear, Option, Export Dino. Just like that you created the export folder!

(Optional) Finding your game files

The next step is to find your Export folder and setting it into the application. If you already know where your Ark folder is you can skip ahead to the next point. For those of you who don't know where your folders are, go on

Steam->Library->Ark Survival Evolved

• Right click on the game name and select properties,
• Local files,
• Browse local files,
• In the folder that just opened follow: ShooterGame->Saved->DinoExports-> <folder named with numbers>. Open this folder,
• Keep the folder opened, it will come in handy for the next step!

Getting the app setup

Now that you have your folder and his location you are ready to setup the app! In order to do it go to:

File->Settings->Import Exported->Choose Folder.

Now you want to browse to your export file. For example mine looks like so:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\DinoExports\76561198169155563

Once the folder location as been added, you can close press okay and test it by clicking "Last Export" which will export the last dino that you... Exported...

ARK Smart Breeding has changed its layout for the server settings menu. The columns are not in the same order. Here is an updated screen capture as of the date of this reply.
